Booked in for one night to go to MEN Arena , hotel is ok but getting very tired ,old tv's , jade'd decor, and has no vibrance, but if It's 1 night for whatever reason its affordable and clean .

Stayed at the Britannia manchester for 2 nights. The hotel location is excellent right in the city centre close to the piccadily bus and tram stations. My single room had apparently undergone a makeover :- a paint over the old wallpaper and polished bathroom. The showers however does not work. The entrance to the hotel and stairways area appear quite grand for a 3 star hotel. My roomrate does not include breakfast although was told during check-in that it is included. I could see what looks like a good buffet. During the 2 days I stayed there Manchester had a heat wave.My room had no aircon and it was quite warm in there.I would stay there again due to its excellent location.
Top Tip
Restaurants are aplenty within the area, also great for shopping.Take a bus anywhere you want to go.I took a bus to the airport and it costs me 2.70 pounds only.

good location, nice and clean only problem was a bit of noise at night but that wouldn't put me off staying again.

Very old fashioned inside. Needs a refurbishment. Great location. 7 min walk from Manchester Piccadily station and a 10 min walk to Arndale Shopping Centre.

Nice hotel, clean room, however, disappointed with the two night clubs attached to the hotel as the patrons were not the nicest crowd, would avoid going there on a night out.
